First layers: laminated with isophthalic polyester resin, ensuring the optimum protection against osmosis. With optimal strength to weight ratio achieved by using unidirectional, biaxial and triaxial glass fiber sandwich construction above water line; core material is PVC closed cell foam. Hand laminated marine grade plywood structural frames longitudinally with additional hull reinforcements in the form a stainless steel sub frame below the cabin sole bonded into the hull with methyl methacrylate resin.
